A benefits card that behaves like modern money
Virtual card the day the program funds. One tap into mobile wallets. Clear answers on eligibility, declines, substantiation, and year end.
Built for how people pay now
Virtual card on day one. One tap into mobile wallets.
Legacy benefit cards still mail plastic and hope people wait. We issue a virtual card when the program funds, then add it to mobile wallets with one tap. Prefer no plastic at all? Run the whole program virtual only. Chip cards stay available when you want them.
- Virtual card ready when enrollment and funding clear
- One tap into mobile wallets from the member app
- Virtual only, virtual first with plastic later, or plastic for everyone
Four things members actually care about
Eligibility
Before you pay, you should know which programs can cover this merchant, and which cannot. No guessing.
Decline
If a charge is declined, you get a plain language reason: wrong program, short balance, or missing item data. Not a dead end code.
Substantiation
When a receipt is required, capture and match is fast. When human review is needed, you know the timeline.
Year end
Priority rules prefer expiring money first so use it or lose it balances are less likely to vanish in December.
In the member app
Designed for decisions, not only balances. Employers and TPAs can white label the surface.
Balances by wallet
FSA, HSA, commuter, LSA, and statutory show separately so you understand what is available and why.
Transaction explanations
Each swipe links to the decision: eligible wallets, exclusions, payment legs, and next steps.
Receipt capture
When the program requires substantiation, upload from the app with status tracking.
Mobile wallet access
Virtual card in the app. One tap into mobile wallets. Plastic only if your employer offers it.
Frequently asked questions
How fast can I start spending?
When your program is funded, we issue a virtual card in the app. Add it to mobile wallets with one tap. If your employer runs virtual only, that is the only card you need.
Do I always get a plastic card?
Not always. Employers can choose virtual only, virtual first with plastic later, or plastic for everyone. Same multi wallet routing either way.
Is the virtual card different from plastic?
Same multi wallet credential and routing rules. The virtual card is the phone ready version. Plastic, when issued, is the same program on a chip card.
Why was my card declined?
Common reasons: the merchant is not eligible for any funded wallet, a wallet was short on balance, or item level data was missing. The app shows the reason when the decision record is available.
Can one swipe use two programs?
Yes, when both are eligible and the first cannot cover the full amount. That is a split authorization. Each leg posts to its own ledger.
Who do I contact for support?
Member support is part of the Phase 3 Benefits card layer, or white labeled under your TPA or PEO brand. Use the in app path or numbers provided at enrollment.
